Well with classes set in stone (as Add Drop period has officially ended) and the temperature gradually decreasing, you can pretty much say that summer is over. With papers due and reading to be done it was a long week and an even longer weekend. Luckily my Keurig was with me 100% of the way.
Other than standard academics and corp activity my roommate cameron and I have been hard at work recording and producing our Progressive Trance mixes. if you would like to take a listen you can check us out at http://www.mixcloud.com/Fourth_Frequency/.
I bought my season ski pass yesterday (sunday). Unfortunately i was impatient so instead of purchasing the pass online like everyone else, I wanted to have my physical pass card. With this crusade in mind, I drove all the way to Sugarbush, which turned out to be an adventure due to the roads that were unusable because of flooding. I finally arrived only to discover that they weren't printing passes yet. A solid hour and a half through twisting dirt roads i returned to Norwich with a paper receipt.
That very day i watched the snowboarding documentary "Art of Flight" with some of my friends from Mountain Cold Weather. Well needless to say I am stoked for winter to come and to get some nice "pow" days. One can tell this by looking at my class schedule as i designed it so that every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I can be on the slope by noon. It's funny because i'm pretty sure that i'm part of a very exclusive club of people who are excited for snow(Approx 5% of the students/faculty [statistic is completely made up]). My thinking has always been "If its going to be cold, it better snow so its not to miserable".
