This cut is perfected by using a two-blade cut on top. A 0000-blade is used to cut the sides high to where the natural hairline recedes. Cut is even around the crown and back to temple. Adjustable clippers are used to fade in line. Sides and neck are cleaned up with outliner.
Hair will be of a natural color at all times (brown, black, red, blonde). Hair will not fall over the eyebrows or extend below the bottom edge of the collar at any time. Females with hair that falls below the color (approximately shoulder-length or longer) will secure their hair in a bun.
Females are allowed to wear hair down if it rests above (does not touch) the collar. All bangs and excess hair will be pinned in place.
Hair holding devices are authorized only for the purpose of securing hair. Female cadets will not place hair-holding devices in the hair for decorative purposes. All hair holding devices must be plain and of a color as close to the cadet's hair color as possible or clear. Authorized devices include barrettes, combs, pins, clips, rubber bands, and hair bands. Female hair is expected to be combed, neat, and professional in appearance at all times.
