A word about your student bill....

NUpay

Norwich now offers paperless billing through the online payment system NUpay. Students will receive a notice through their Norwich e-mail account directing them to their bill online. Students MUST sign up their parents and guardians to be an authorized payer which allows them to view their student’s bill online and pay it online. Have your student follow these steps to let you become an authorized payer.

1.    Have your student log into CLIC. This can be done by visiting http://clic3.norwich.edu/cp/home/loginf.
2.    Once logged in have the student click the button marked Banner Web
3.    Have the student enter their "A00" number into the username box and their password.
4.    Once logged in click the first button marked “Student Services & Financial Aid”
5.    Once in this menu select the 5th option on the list marked “Pay online with NUpay”
6.    This will take you into the NUpay screen. Click the third option on the left hand menu marked “Authorize Payers”.
7.    Once in the Authorize Payers screen click the Add New button.
8.    Fill out the requested information in the boxes and click add and you are all set.

Quick Facts
•    Norwich does not accept Visa for NUpay.
•    You can use other major credit cards or E-check to pay.
•    If using a credit card there is a 2.5% service charge.
•    If you don’t want to use the Internet to pay you may physically mail a payment in.

The due date for the bill is Wednesday, August 1, 2007 and the remittance form must also be returned or there is a $50 charge. Please note the bill seen online will not contain any deductions for financial aid so the bill may appear larger than it actually is.

Tuition Refund Plan

In case the worst happens and your student has to take time off from school, Norwich now offers the Tuition Refund Plan (TRP) to help families recoup the cost of their semester. This is an elective program that can cover all costs associated with a semester at Norwich. The University does offer a standard refund policy which expires after five weeks but this plan will protect the student if something happens halfway during a semester.
If you want to sign your student up for the TRP please fill out and return the application you have or will be receiving in the mail with payment before August 27. Applications may also be done online at www.collegerefund.com. If you have any questions about the TRP please contact A.W.G Dewar at 617-774-1555.

Student Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan

An important form that can be found online is the student health insurance waiver. If a student has health insurance they must fill out this waiver or be charged the rate for $909.00 for the insurance. To waive the Student Health Insurance Plan visit www.koterweb.com and follow these steps

1.    Click on Student Access
2.    Select Norwich University
3.    Create Account
4.    Log in
5.    Click Student Waive/Enroll Forms
6.    Select 2007-2008 Norwich University Annual Waiver Form.

*You must have your health insurance ID card ready in order to waive the insurance.*

The deadline for submission is August 27,2007.
