Hey there, again, I am wicked sorry about not posting for about 21 days. SORRY. There are excuses, ya know? For instance, my laptop is currently in the shop... and... I tend to forget to do it... I'm sorry.
Anywho, lets see here, what have I been up to now? Well, this week I'm a part of the flag detail that raises and lowers the flag in front of Jackman hall every morning and evening. It has its perks; like, those recruits on flag detail prepare their uniforms the night before, which is pretty awesome. I love doing flag detail, it makes me feel important. During Drill Team practice we are coming up with our own routine to show the upperclassmen, its pretty awesome so far. Since the last time I posted I got sick and I sprained my ankle, but I'm all fine and well now, no worries, lol.
As far as academics go, classes are all right. I'm taking French 111 , English 101, History 107, Naval Science 201 (I think thats the number of it), and Mil Lab. If any of you have any questions about my classes, let me know and I shall answer them to the best of my ability.
So, since I am supposed to be wicked honest on here, I'm going to be. I have been having really good days for the past three or four days, but last night I just crashed. There was a meeting of some sort in the Chapel, so I just went over to Webb Hall and sat in one of the stair wells and cried for about an hour. Thats the first time i've broken down the entire time I've been here. It wasn't about rookdom or my cadre, nothing like that, it was about stuff that has to do with my family. It was just interesting, to say the least. I don't break down easirly either, it takes a lot of issues and a very long time for me to break down, so I guess I just finally got overloaded. Oh well, on to happy topics.
