At the end of last week we probably got over a foot of snow. This week we have had snow on Tuesday and then today, out of no where it started snowing a few more inches. It's funny to see mountains of snow everywhere. The parking lots have almost been impossible to drive/ park in if you do not have 4WD. The campus is working hard to have us all clear out our cars to a certain lot in order to plow our original lot. Tonight South residents will be moving their vehicles so that our lot will be plowed by tomorrow. I can imagine it is quite the task for Facility Operations.
For housing next year I will be living on campus again. It is very convenient to live here and also the least expensive since I have full housing coverage due to my AF scholarship. I am very blessed to have this. There is no reason for me to live off campus and pay for an apartment. Next year though, I will have the opportunity to choose to live in either South or the new dormitory that will be complete, West Hall. I have not decided what I would like best. I will have to let you all know what I choose.
I went home last weekend and finally went to the doctor. I have bronchitis. It was nice to at least be diagnosed so that I could be perscribed medicine. The whole weekend I felt completely awful, but today is my 5th day on antibiotics. I can most certainly see my progress. I feel almost 75% better. I decided to not workout at all so that my lungs can clear out and heal. I will resume my run workouts next week and try to get back in the best shape for my PT test.
This week we had our second exam in Peds. It was on a lot of material. This weekend I was quite anxious since my illness this weekend hindered my studying. Despite all that, my roommate and I studied together so I felt confident going into the exam and actually did really well!
This week has been pretty easy as one of my classes is not meeting. I've taken this free time to nap, as I know I need the extra sleep to get better.
Have a great evening!
