I'm Margery Lucas! I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am a returning sophomore in the Corps of Cadets, Marine Corps ROTC and on scholarship. Last year I was a blogger for my freshmen year and a lot of people found my blog really helpful so I hope to do the same this year. Last year I never did an intro or anything, I pretty much just dived into my thoughts about Norwich. I chose Norwich because I originally applied for the Naval Academy, but I knew I needed some type of back up just in case I wouldn't get in. I heard of the Citadel and I knew there had to be another Military College out there. I also had a list of colleges that had a NROTC, so I took that as a map and took my search online. I thought it was pretty funny because I would pretty much rely on the internet and pictures to pick my future college. I was really scared about picking one because I knew I wouldn't be able to visit all the colleges, and this was a place I was going to spend 4 years of my life in! SoI knew if I was basing my college on the internet and pictures I would have to choose wisely. When I looked at the list I picked colleges that had interesting names and some major colleges, like Ohio State, Univ. of San Diego.....then I looked at Norwich!
Norwich caught my eye really quick because of the pictures! They looked really motivating and I always wanted to run in boots, wear camo paint, and go through physically demanding challenges. So I decided this is the one....AND NOW I CAN SAY THAT I TRUELY ENJOY IT!!
