Last weekend the campus witnessed another great event. Every year at 9/11 there are flags put up on the U.P. to signify those who passed away. Then at 2200 everyone forms up on the U.P. in their tunics and everyone is silent. Then echo taps play from one end of the U.P. to the other. This year I had the privilege to do the colorguard at Northfield for the memorial service. Words cannot describe how that day feels, I still get the chills whenever I hear echo taps, and doing the colorguard just added to the moment. I think this year echo taps was not mandatory to attend, but yet I think everyone went out of respect and patriotism for their country.
