As a freshmen, life was different in Drill Company. You were told what to do, and you just did it, no questions asked. Everyone knew the schedule and what was going on. You always went to your cadre for a definite answer. Life as an upperclassmen is definitely something else. One thing I didn't know about where color details. Wow, it surprised me how many colorguards I did since the beginning of the school year. What also surprises me is the number of details Drill Co. is asked to do. Almost every weekend I've had to do something with a colorguard, which is pretty cool because I didn't do that freshmen year and colorguards is what I wanted to do. It keeps me busy during the weekends and it's different than staying in and doing homework. Life as an upperclassmen, it's like life you don't know about as a freshmen, it's like finding out the inner-workings of the Corps, which is pretty cool.
