As my sophomore year comes to a close, I realized I learned a lot this year as being a regular cadet and not having people watching over me. Like, I learned I need a 30 min. nap and 2 cups of coffee everyday to keep myself content. OKay, but on the serious matter, this year was a whole lot easier to concentrate an academics than it was last year. I learned a lot of good valuable lessons along the way and made new friends. Being Corporal cadre for 4 weeks was fun. This year I even got my first Corps punishment, 3 tours, for failing a room inspection. Even though some experiences weren't fun, I still learned stuff from them.
Pretty much this week has been tiring. It's the week before finals and just preparing for them is stressful enough! [sighs...] but it is what it is. I'm looking forward to going back home.
I also learned that I'm going to be platoon sergeant for Drill next year! Which is pretty interesting because I thought I would not have a job.So we shall see how the job goes for me next year, I'm ready for it.
I'm happy that my sophomore is going to end, although I do know I have some pretty tough challenges ahead of me as a junior. I also have the Jr.Ring to look forward too as well!! =D
A rather interesting post here, it makes a lot of sense with most of the facts.
