It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Winter

04 December 2007

Well we all knew it would come eventually. It comes just once a year, and we all eagerly anticipate its arrival. The winter that is. While technically winter isn’t here quite yet, it has arrived with almost a foot of fluffy snow. In typical New England fashion, the weatherman scared the masses into the grocery stores and Wal-Mart to purchase break, milk and snow shovels. Personally, I don’t think the snow was overbearing, or anything that we haven’t experienced before. It was a nice winter storm, and hopefully is a sign of more snow to come.

In terms of the wonderful world of college admissions, there really is nothing new to report. I haven’t been traveling to warm places, haven’t had any truly absurd phone calls in a while, and am settled in for my long winter’s worth of file review and other admissions counselor activities (not sure what those exactly are, but time will certainly tell).

Until next time, I remain.

Tim

Howdy ,
I am a student in Sanger, Tx and am very interested in attending Norwich University. I am a varsity football player and started this year at the defensive end position. I received Academic All District and Honorable Mention All District honors this year. I graduate in 2009. I am interested in playing ball for Norwich, but am more interested in the military aspect of the university. After college I want to pursue a career in the USAF and Norwich's ROTC program seems to be a great path on which i can follow my dream. If you could please contact me about how to go about the admissions process and possibly arrange for me to somehow get ahold of the football coaches email address so that I can send him some of my game film. I received a brochure and letter in the mail recently and am going to register myself on the university's website. Thank you for the time you took to read this, I am only a Junior but I am stressing about college already.
Sincerely,
J. Lang
