So this week was the first of the Spring 2010 semester. So far I like all of my classes. I am taking English-Composition and Literature, Calc II, Computer Programming, Intro to Engineering II, and Air Force Studies. Last semester's hard work paid off and I ended up with a 3.33 GPA which made me eligible to receive a silver star for my B uniform, and I received a 3.5 year Air Force express scholarship! I am very excited about getting a scholarship. This scholarship pays for 100% of school, except room and board which no scholarship covers, but at Norwich, if you keep a 2.75 GPA and have an ROTC scholarship, you are eligible to receive a scholarship to cover room and board, so then truly everything is paid for. This semester I am joining IEEE which is the club for Computer and Electrical engineering students. In the club we work on different projects that have to do with our major. Next week starts corporal cadre, it is when corporals(sophomores) who are thinking of becoming cadre next year, learn to lead the freshmen and decide whether they still want to do it. They rotate in groups for a few weeks, so it will be interesting. It has been cold here, especially today, and there isn't as much snow. Right now there less than a foot on the ground and in some places it has completely melted, but they say more is coming. The school did issue us ACU winter jackets though, and they are very warm.
Thanks for reading,
Seth
