Hello,
This weekend was the Green Mountain Experience or GME. This is when Norwich takes all the freshmen in the Corps skiing/snowboarding at Sugarbush Ski Resort. It was a great time, it was the first time I had ever skied. I fell, a lot, but I got back up and had a blast. The mountain had a lot of snow, but here at school, we can see mostly grass. The Super Bowl was also this past weekend, a little disappointing, but, there's always next year.
This week we get a new set of corporal cadre. So far I have just met one of them, but he seems like a good guy. I am also going up for Rook of the Month this weekend. It is a knowledge/PT/room-inspection competition where each platoon sends one representative to compete. I have never done it before, so it will be an interesting Saturday. I will also get to take my first PT test for the Corps which will be different than when I take a PFA for the Air Force because Norwich follows Army standards which are a little different from Air Force.
Other than that, classes are going well, and this semester is flying by, there are only a little more than 4 weeks left till mid-semester, and spring break! After we get back from spring break, the Air Force ROTC is taking a base visit to Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio, so I'm looking forward to that. We will stay a few days there and tour the base. Well, I have to go.
Thanks for reading,
Seth
You're blogs have been a real guidance; we both come from small towns and families. I'm a High school sophmore, and really trying to find a college to plan for. Your blogs really made me think Norwich is the college for me. Thank you. Congrats on your success so far and good luck.

Seth: Looked on the webcam today and saw what little snow you have there. Guess all the snow went to Washington, D.C. and Baltimore instead. Good luck on your "rook of the month" honor and can't believe it's only 4 weeks until spring break. See you then! C. & D.C.
