As a recognized cadet I have found that it is, of course, harder to manage your time because you have so much free time on your hands to do with whatever you please. I mostly use my free time for homework and naps. Sometimes naps come before homework and some days there aren’t any naps because of the homework load.
As classes have started this semester I have found that any type of homework can be hated and any class can be loved no matter how much homework is given. For example I love my spanish class, I look forward to it everyday but it has a lot of homework and time you have to put into it.
Also, as a recognized cadets I have experienced what college is really like as a student and not a rook. Plus I have made tons of friends after recognition because they were upperclassmen and no rook in their right mind would befriend an upperclassman. Life has definitely changed and I am loving every second of it. I personally would never change my choice to come to Norwich; however, some days I feel as if I fit in more with the civilians than the corps but some days it’s the other way around.
This week’s title is Va Va Voom by Nicki Minaj because I was listening to it while I was typing this up it's got a killer beat. This past weekend they had a date auction which was very entertaining. I had two rook sisters in it and then the men’s hockey team is going to some championship but I am sure they will dominate this weekend. Go CADETS!
