How long have you been at Norwich University? Seven weeks!
Why did you choose to enter into the world of Admissions? I love helping people. I started out as a dental hygiene major and realized it wasn't for me. Then I began working in the Admissions Office at VTC and continued there for 3 years which led me to love it!
What do you focus on the most when reviewing an application? We focus on the whole person. Some people don't test well, maybe you had a bad day or even a bad year. If you let us know we can take it into our consideration of your file.
What are your Admissions "Pet Peeves"? Improper email addresses, poor grammar and spelling, and kids who don't think it's important to represent themselves and be courteous.
What is your favorite part of this job? At the end of the day, I can look back and see how I've helped someone, whether it's figuring out what they want or just answering some questions.
Applications Tips: Do everything in a timely manner. Don't wait until the last minute and proofread to make sure it makes sense!
What are your outside hobbies? I love listening to music, singing, I play the flute, hanging out with friends, driving around, seeing new places, watching movies and a lot more.
What's something about you that surprises most people? As a kid, my pets were 2 goats; Billy and Ralphie and 2 sheep; Mocha and Cumulus. Cumulus was mine and I named her after cumulus clouds because she was white and poofy like them and that's what we were learning about in science class!
