What is there to do on campus?

There are some fun things you can do on campus! My favorite thing to do on campus is go to the Dunkin Donuts, get an iced coffee and walk around on the Upper Parade Ground. As a civilian, it is very interesting to see the rooks/cadets in their formations and routines. The Upper Parade Ground is where the rooks/cadet dorms are. I also enjoy visiting the museum on campus. I like to look around the school store during my free time if I get bored. During the fall semester there was activities around campus such as BBQs on the lawn, a outside movie, etc. Now that it has been colder, there hasn't been many activities happening around campus but there still are a few things to do! What are things to do near campus/what is close by

You're probably wondering if there is a lot of stuff to do near campus. Let me tell you, Burlington is the best place to go if you are looking for fun activities, shopping, and really good restaurants. My favorite place to shop is the University Mall in Burlington, they have almost everything you would be looking for! It is about 45 minutes away from campus, but so worth the drive. If you are into hiking trails, the Burlington Bike path is absolutely stunning! Very peaceful and quiet. The Waterfront is also really pretty and relaxing. There are often fireworks put off there! If you are looking for places closer to campus, TJ Maxx is in Barre! Its a 20 minute drive from campus. Have you ever struggled in a subject? Well, don't you worry because Norwich University offers tutors! When I signed up for classes for the Fall 2017 semester, I took a history class and I was nervous of getting bad grades and not understanding the material. History has always been one of my weak subjects. When I arrived on campus and went to visit the AAC, I was completely blown away on how relaxing it was. It was very quiet and everyone there was so kind and helpful. My tutor made me feel comfortable and broke down the material so then I could understand it better. There is completely no judgement by anyone and the tutors are so amazing! I felt silly at first going to get a tutor because I figured college students usually don't have tutors, but I was wrong!
