On October 26, the civilian students had the opportunity to hand out candy to little kids in our community. Not only did the kids have a good time but it also gave us students a break from homework. After having a long rough week of classes, it was so nice to be able to relax from school for a bit. I think it is important for Norwich to be apart of the community and to get involved. Seeing the kid's faces light up while knocking on doors was such a nostalgic experience that reminded me from when I was little. I remember running from house to house to get candy. Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays and I am glad Norwich planned a fun event like this. It gave us students the opportunity to answer any questions the kids had about college and our major. I had a fun time preparing for this event such as decorating my door Halloween themed and drawing on my whiteboard for the kids to see.
