I am writing today with excitement to announce that I am so close to beginning my first rotation of nursing clinical! Earlier today, I found out that I will be doing my NR215: Client/Psychosocial Mental Health Problems clinical at the University of Vermont Medical Center.
For this rotation, several of my friends in the nursing program will be doing their rotations at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, UVM, and the Vermont State Psychiatric Hospital. For other rotations (such as Med Surg, Pediatrics and OB) there are other various sites that clinical rotations will be held at. It is super awesome that we have the opportunity at Norwich to travel to various sites all around the state (and outside) to get the best educational experience to help enrich our future goals.
I look forward to blogging and sharing my experiences as I go through the clinical portion of my nursing career. While I am nervous, I look forward to this opportunity! It will be a lot of long nights, hard work and endless preparations- but I am ready for the challenge!
