band concert

Tonight was the prospect concert for band. It was a lot of work putting it together, but it was so worth it. It was a really good concert and we were told that a lot afterwards. There were a lot of laughs and we were told we impressed everyone. At the end of it all we earned our cords for band. We have been working so hard all year and we showed how hard we worked tonight at that concert. It was nerve racking but also a lot of fun and at the end of the night it was so rewarding. Senioritis

62 days left and counting... I stare at the graduation countdown clock every time I go to the WCC. Graduation is almost here, and I can't wait. Midterms are over for me, which is incredibly reassuring. I never doubted that I would graduate, but whether I do so with my good grades and sanity intact is still a burning question. As the end of the year gets closer, it's actually kind of unbelievable to think that in a couple of months I will be done with school. In two months, I will actually have managed graduating at 19 years old (it still feels insane but it's happening). I might go to grad school in the future, but I need a break from lectures. Midterms are crazy

It's midterm time, and I feel like I've been so busy I could lose my mind. This last week was the worst, staying up really late to finish assignments, and working on projects every free minute I had. Last night was the first night that I felt like I could breathe a little bit, it was such a nice feeling knowing that I could indulge myself with watching a movie to relax for the first time in awhile. We have one more week of classes before spring break, and it's going to be relatively busy as well, but thankfully enough, I think the load will be a little bit lighter. On another note, yesterday a local Girl Scout troop came and was selling cookies in the Mill! It was nice to be able to support the girls by buying a box of the coveted thin mints. :) Read more →
