Is anyone else struggling to find motivation during this quarantine? I have been having a hard time getting up in the morning and starting my day. While the stay at home order is in place, I have not been as productive as I need to be. It is so easy to wake up late and stay in bed watching Netflix. However, unfortunately, I need to be productive or my grades will go downhill. I have mastered a few tips and tricks to help with motivation!
I first start out my morning with coffee, because who doesn't like coffee?! I have started to set my alarm to wake me up at 8 am every morning to get ready for the day. I always take a cold shower to wake me up, go downstairs to eat breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and gives your brain fuel to get through a long day of online classes as well as many hours of homework. I find that if I get up earlier rather than sleeping in, I get so much more done! I set a limit to start homework around 10 am so that way I dont procrastinate.
I know it can be difficult with getting up and getting ready when we can't leave our house. However, if you stay in pajamas all day then you are more likely not to be productive. Getting ready like you are going to class or even the library to do homework will give you the energy and motivation to get things done!
