Moving from New York City to the Mountains of Vermont was a tremendous change of atmosphere to say the least. Moving from the city that never sleeps to a small mountain town where everyone knows each other was definitely a culture shock for me. But it was the change I can say I really needed. Personally I needed to get away from that big city life. Don’t get me wrong, I love my city but everyone needs a break from things the love sometimes. What I really miss about being home is if I need to go the store at one in the morning for food, there’s at least a dozen stores still open. As for here everything shuts down at 10pm and you need a car to get anywhere. But it’s okay, I enjoy the simplicity and tranquility of Vermont. You can’t have everything your way but it’s okay...
