Knowing thanksgiving break is fastly approaching that means the first semester of my last year is coming to an end. As I wake up I watch the calendar move day by day closer to the day I have pushed myself to its fullest for. I also know it is getting closer and closer to the next year for each and every student they too are a semester closer to graduation. As time passes at Norwich the one thing I have taken with me is to make as memories as you can and do your best 100% of the time. As your years and semesters go by you will see that it is not only you who is watching your progress as it is also the rook platoon which you get recognized with, the company which you are apart of, the professors and friends which you have chosen. As you grow throughout this campus it is not only benefiting yourself but the people above you and helping you progress through this school and even this crazy thing called life. As you go on your week I have a task to anyone who is interested in doing so. Take a mental or physical note of one amazing thing this college or someone has done for you. Keep note, at the end of the school year remember these notes the things people have helped you with and work this school had helped you work through. By doing this it shows you the many struggles you have struggled yourself and the many people who have helped you along the way to make getting to the next grade, semester, year, or even graduation possible. You know that saying it takes a village to raise a child, this task right here will show that no matter your age child or not it take so many more people to make you into the man or woman you want to be. So dont feel as you are walking through this part of your life in college alone, you are never alone and will never be alone. Home or in Vermont Norwich University cadets will always be apart of you and your life. Although you may or may not know me I will be here whenever you need me no matter who you are so when you feel alone speak up and find someone there are people there for you. Never give up!
