One thing that I will forever take with me is the life I have been given to live the last four years as a Norwich University women's rugby player. Starting as a rook I walked into a sport that I have never played before never realizing how much it would soon one day mean so much to me and be so hard to leave. As I step onto the pitch and into the new clubhouse tomorrow before our last home game for senior night I plan to think of the many women who stood before me and the women who will come after. I hope and pray that they too get the same amazing experiences I have gotten to receive on this team. Not just as a sister or player but as a captain as well. I could never be more grateful for the experiences I have been given while at Norwich within this team and all the fun bus rides, long practice runs or walks, and the 80 minutes that I have got to share on the field multiple times the last few years doing something I love with people I love. Deciding to join rugby has been the best thing I could have ever done for myself and my life here at Norwich. Without this team I would never have experienced or enjoyed the life of a Norwich cadet as I have. I hope each and every one of my sisters remember this time together just as I will for the rest of my life. To all you under classmen, don't be in a rush to graduate the day will come and you will regret ever thinking about graduation instead of the very moment you are living in. I remember just 4 years ago coming to this school as a new rook/rugby player and now in just a few months I graduate and will miss the endless laughs, plays, and talks with some of the greatest women on this campus. NUWRFC forever!
