Hello everyone! The other day, a few of my friends and I all went to the lobby of our building to carve our own pumpkins. I forgot how much fun (and messy) pumpkin carving is. I shared a pumpkin with one of my friends and we ended up putting it between our doors in the hallway since we are neighbors. It was fun to embrace the Halloween spirit and carve pumpkins before this weekend when it's actually Halloween.
Another activity that went on this week happened yesterday when one of our resident advisors in our building set up a place where students could go to make terrariums and drink either tea or hot chocolate. A few of my friends went with me and we actually had a lot of fun. It didn't take too long, so as we finished our drinks and chatted with each other and got to know one another better. Now I have a few plants set up in my room.
We have a ton of activities that go on throughout the year and include many students, whether in the corps or as a civilian. I hope to continue participating in fun events like these. Happy early Halloween everyone!
