Hey everyone, Fortunately, the end of the year is upon us. Finals start in a week and everyone is ready to get out of here. This is probably one of the most craziest times of the year, because not only are we preparing for finals, we are packing our rooms and getting ready to go home. So we are also trying to secure jobs, internships and etc. This summer I am staying in VT and living with a friend, that way I can keep working at my job with Washington County Mental Health Services! Vermont summers are gorgeous and I hope to spend a lot of time swimming, kayaking and camping.

Hey guys! So today I wanted to write about something that I wondered about a bunch before I started college: how hard will working while going to school be? I was given work study as part of my financial aid package, which many of you will too. My first year at Norwich I only worked on campus as work study. This year however, I do have a bunch of jobs (4) and work on average 40-55 hours a week while taking 17 credits. I work at a mental health crisis house, the center for civic engagement, residence life and for Vermonts department of liquor control. Working has always been something that is super important to me, but I really don't recommend working full time while in college for everyone.
