When I did pull into the pier in Norfolk, and finally settled at the Navy Lodge. I got calls from the other MIDN/kids from Norwich. What timing. They wanted me to go out with them and of course I did. This was one of the few things I was grateful for, being placed in Norfolk for these couple days. Majority of my friends were actually in Norfolk. I had my flight the next day after we pulled in. I was able to go axe throwing, and eat at the yard on my last day. Flying home was a breeze.
