If you’re someone like me who’s had anxiety for almost their whole life, forgetting the past isn’t easy. The smallest thoughts can rip you away from the present and make your whole future seem bleak. However, you control this. Mindfulness is an amazing practice. Realizing that we cannot change the past is essential for us to have a bright future. It is definitely different spending time with my family after living with a single room. Going from just friends to your whole family is a wake up call to realize why you truly love home! we only had immediate family over because of COVID, but we all still had a yummy turkey with tons of appetizers.
