This weekend the Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) ran the annual drop 'n swap event at Plumley Armory. This event was a lot of fun, with both students and community members dropping off old clothes on Saturday, and coming to get whatever clothes they want for only a dollar on Sunday! I volunteered on both Saturday and Sunday, sorting clothes and carrying bags when they were dropped off, and making sure there was no tripping hazards, and helping carry bags back to people's cars when they were done picking up clothes. Not only that, but I was able to snag a much needed raincoat, and a few long sleeve shirts for when it starts to get colder! This event was a lot of fun, and I highly suggest both volunteering as well as participating. :)

It's going to be a lot of fun hanging out with friends and being artsy carving a pumpkin for this fall.
